316Nb (06Cr17Ni12Mo2Nb) stainless steel has better resistance to intergranular corrosion than 316 stainless steel. Used to manufacture welding parts for chemical equipment.
316N (06Cr17Ni12Mo2N) stainless steel is a steel formed by adding 0.10%-0.22% of N to 316 stainless steel. Due to the solid solution strengthening of N in the steel and stabilizing the austenite structure, it can increase the strength of the steel without reducing it. Plasticity can also reduce the thickness of materials and reduce the weight of parts.
316N stainless steel is used to manufacture parts that not only require corrosion resistance not less than 316 stainless steel, but also require higher strength.
